I`ve always been a groupie of the old times.
Experiencing how society evolved increased my admiration for the past, evoking a sense of nostalgia.
Time taught me to find comfort in this feeling instead of facing it with sorrow. After all, advances are sometimes a dead end where adaptation is the only choice.
I learned it´s more about how we see things rather than what they really look like, and in this sense, I was still the owner of my point of view to make the present more palatable. Nostalgia wasn´t a feeling itself, but an alternative way of interpreting reality that never gets old.
Many of these thoughts triggered my interest in photography, which correspondingly, doesn´t seek to depict reality with accuracy, but the way we see it in the attempt to share it with others.
